Japanese Spring Festival 2017

Global 91΄σΙρ
● Apr 19, 2017

Approximately 300 people attended 91΄σΙρ's annual Japanese Spring Festival on Friday, April 7.

They enjoyed a Taiko drum performance, calligraphy, origami, kimono, and other Japanese activities in the Joe Rosenfield ’25 Center, Room 101. They also sampled free Japanese food, including sushi and curry.

This year we were able to meet many new attendees from the 91΄σΙρ and neighboring communities as well as the College. From seniors to school kids, many were new to these Japanese food and activities.

This festival was made possible thanks to funding from The Japan Foundation in New York and the Institute for Global Engagement at 91΄σΙρ.
